As you have probably guessed by now, Free-Motion Machine Embroidery is my passion. Water Soluble Fabric, otherwise known as Water Soluble Fabric Stabilizer adds a whole new dimension to the techniques and possibilities that are achievable using this technique. If you haven’t had a chance to play around with Water Soluble Fabric, then I suggest you do so as soon as possible.
The tutorial below gives you some pointers and ideas on how to start using this fabric. This weekend I will be publishing part 2 of this tutorial, where I will show you how to achieve 3D shapes or thread sculptures using this technique.
