Chocolate Chip Cookies

INGREDIENTS:
125g butter, softened
½ cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
+/- 100g dark chocolate, chopped
METHOD:
- Preheat oven to 180 °C and line a baking sheet with baking paper, or spray your baking sheet with baking spray.
- Beat butter and sugar together until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla essence
- Use a wooden spoon to mix in the flour and baking powder.
- Lastly mix in the chocolate.
- Bake at 180 °C for about 12 minutes, depending on how big you make them.
